Monday, October 31st

8:30 am - Calvert Big Yard

Minimum Day

School Dismissed at 12:41pm

On Monday, October 31st, we will have our Annual Halloween Parade at 8:30 a.m. with a shortened day dismissal at 12:41 p.m.

Students should come dressed with their costumes over their school clothes. This will make changing out of costumes after the parade much easier.

Please adhere to the following guidelines when selecting a costume:

• Costumes should not be demeaning to any person or group.
• No weapons or replica weapons are to be brought to school.
• Masks may be worn during the parade as long as the student can safely see.
• No costume can be worn that is unsafe or that may create a safety hazard. Costumes may not impair a student’s vision or movement (e.g., ability to climb stairs).
• In light of current events, no clown costumes or clown make-up will be allowed.

Students and staff who wish to be excused from participating due to religious beliefs will be accommodated without penalty or bias.

Parents are welcome to join us for the parade. Please remember to stand behind the students so everyone can have a clear view of the parade.

-Mrs. Evans, Principal
