    Hello Calvert Families,

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Spring Break! We only have seven weeks of school left, and they will be busy. I hope everyone got plenty of rest. I have a few dates I would like you to put on your calendars.

Tomorrow, April 22nd, we will celebrate Earth Day with a spirit day. We are encouraging everyone to wear green.

Tuesday, April 23rd, the PTA will be meeting and holding their officer elections. The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. in the library. We hope you will attend.

On Wednesday, April 24th, our second graders will be taking a field trip to the Santa Monica Playhouse. The Playhouse has a great trip planned for our students.

Thursday, April 25th, we will have our STEM Fair. We are asking students to take their projects to the auditorium first thing on Thursday morning. Classrooms will view the projects during the day, and families are welcome to visit the STEM Fair from 2:30 - 6:00 p.m.

It's time for Spring pictures. Photos will be taken on Friday, April 26th.

    Upcoming Dates:

Monday, April 29 - Coffee with the Principal in the Library at 8:15 a.m.

Tuesday, April 30 - We will have our charter committee meetings in Room 21 at 1:40 p.m.

    Thank you for your time.

    Best regards,

    Amanda Evans, Principal
